No Motley Crue or Anthrax albums please. I might, MIGHT, allow one Metallica CD on the basis of youthful folly, and it would probably only be that black one.

T-shirts are a different story, but only if they are obviously vintage recycle and completely cut up and reassembled with other fabrics (such as Harris Tweed).

Metal is very wrong, especially Eighties Metal. Only Spinal Tap are allowed, maybe KISS. AC/DC perhaps. No Metallica apart from youthful folly. *Irony* is no excuse.
oh i have HUGE issues with AC/DC and will only accept it IF it is from the era before bon scott asphyxiated AND the album is not displayed in a prominent part of the CD collection. ideally it should have a dusty cover and have perhaps fallen behind a cupboard, to be found accidentally and explained or hidden again.
